Illegal Israeli colonizers set fire to a mosque, at dawn Friday, in the village of Marda, north of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that illegal settlers set fire to the Bar al-Walid Mosque and wrote racist slurs on its walls, before residents managed to extinguish the fire; the damage was contained to the entrance to the mosque.

Sheikh Othman al-Din, the Director of Endowments in Salfit, condemned the attack against a Place of Worship and warned citizens of the likelihood of a repeat attack.

Meanwhile, illegal settlers damaged a citizen’s vehicle, on Friday, in the village of Kardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

Media sources said that a group of illegal colonizers hurled rocks at a citizen’s vehicle, resulting in a shattered windshield; no injuries were reported.

Furthermore, several colonizers set up a tent on Palestinian lands near the Arab al-Mleihat Bedouin community, northwest of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

Hassan Mleihat, the supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli settlers invaded the area at dawn and proceeded to set up a tent on citizens’ land near the Arab al-Mleihat Bedouin community.
