Early Friday morning, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked the Al-Masoudiya area, northwest of Nablus, setting fire to a vehicle and targeting a municipal water well.

According to security and local sources, the colonizers launched incendiary devices at a water well belonging to the Nablus municipality, as well as at its guard, Karam Nazal, resulting in his vehicle being burned.

Local sources warn that colonizers may attempt to seize the well, which supplies water to surrounding villages, amid repeated assaults on the area.

They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
