Israeli colonizers, illegally squatting on Palestinian lands, cut more than 100 Palestinian olive trees in Tarqoumia town, northwest of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Local farmer Suleiman al-Ja’afra stated that the colonizers invaded his 20-Dunam orchard in the Farsh al-Hawa area near the bypass road leading to the Tarqoumia terminal, and cut more than 100 olive trees that were planted three years ago.

He added that the colonizers frequently invade Palestinian farmlands and orchards in the area, in addition to repeatedly attacking the farmers and their property.

Ja’afra stated that the farmers are determined to remain on their lands despite the escalating violations, especially the complicity of the Israeli occupation army, and called on the international community to provide the urgently needed protection to the Palestinians and their lands.
