Israeli occupation forces carried out massive invasions across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, breaking into homes, assaulting residents, and abducting Palestinians in multiple towns, villages, and refugee camps.

The operations targeted communities in the northwestern, northern, central, and southern regions of the West Bank and were accompanied by widespread military roadblocks and road closures.

In Kufur Qaddum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, soldiers invaded the town from its southern entrance, deployed through several neighborhoods, broke into homes, and abducted three brothers—Sami, Lu’ay, and Hani Jom’a—along with Hani’s son, Bara’ Jom’a.

Residents reported extensive searches and on‑the‑spot interrogations before the army withdrew.

In Qabatia, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces forced families out of their homes at gunpoint, destroyed furniture, and interrogated dozens of young men until dawn.

Soldiers abducted former political prisoner ‘Aziz Abu Mu‘alla and his mother, Dr. Sanaa Zakarnah, after forcing them to leave their homes and walk while raising their arms in the air and walk towards the armored vehicles.

Military vehicles remained deployed around the municipal roundabout and the western neighborhood for hours, and the local Education Directorate suspended school attendance due to the ongoing military presence.

In Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods and abducted eight Palestinians after breaking into their homes. The army then installed military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron city, its towns, villages, and refugee camps, closing multiple main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.

In the al‑‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, protests erupted after soldiers invaded the camp and opened live fire at residents. A young man was shot in the leg and transferred to a hospital in Bethlehem, where his condition was described as moderate. Soldiers also abducted Akram Khalil Ghawanma after breaking into his home.

In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two young men—Khalaf Saleh Jubran from Jabal Hindaza and Ward Jamal Zawahra from the al‑Karkafa area—after breaking into their family homes. Soldiers also invaded Manger Square, Collège des Frères Street, and the al‑Obeyyat area, where they broke into the home of Omar Hassan.

In Deir Ibzi‘, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village at dawn, broke into a home, and abducted 21‑year‑old university student Basel Ibrahim Mansour.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces threatened residents of Qalandiya refugee camp with displacement during an 18‑hour invasion that extended through the camp and the nearby town of ar‑Ram, north of the city.

Soldiers broke into dozens of homes, assaulted residents, and abducted more than 80 Palestinians, including relatives of slain Palestinians and former prisoners, while leaving widespread destruction across the area.

In the Jericho district in the eastern West Bank, illegal Israeli colonizers installed a metal gate on Wadi al‑Qelt Road in the al-Mu’arrajat area, roughly 300 meters from Palestinian homes.

The al‑Baidar Rights Organization said the road is a vital route linking al- Mu’arrajat (also referred to as al‑Murashshahat) to Deir Wadi al‑Qelt, the ‘Ein al‑Qelt spring, and the Jericho–Jerusalem Road and is used daily by residents.

The organization warned that the colonizers’ actions further restrict movement and deepen the isolation of Palestinian communities.

The widespread invasions, home break‑ins, abductions, and movement restrictions reflect the continued escalation by Israeli forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers across the occupied West Bank.

Earlier, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed Abdul‑Halim Rawhi Hammad, 37, inside his family home during a military invasion of the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, before seizing his body.
