Israeli forces shot and killed, on Friday, a Palestinian child after an alleged car-ramming attack in the “Wadi Al-Shajna” area, east of Dura town, southwest of Hebron.

Initial reports said that occupation forces shot the driver of a vehicle with live rounds, on Friday afternoon, and denied him medical attention, leaving him to bleed.

Sources added that the army assaulted four journalists who were providing coverage of the incident, destroyed their equipment, and seized their cameras, including cell phones.

The army declared the area a closed military zone, claiming that the driver had attempted to run over soldiers.

Later, the Ministry of Health announced that it had been informed by the General Authority for Civil Affairs, that the child, Amr Abdel Fattah Abu Hussein, 16, from the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, had succumbed to his wounds.

A large army force then invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp southwest of Hebron, which triggered protests among local Palestinian youths.

In response, the occupation army opened fire with live ammunition at citizens, shooting a child in the foot; he was transported to Yatta Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.

Israeli forces summoned the slain child’s father and four brothers, Omar, Suhaib, Karam, and Ali, to the military tower at the entrance to the camp, before interrogating, assaulting, and abducting them.

According to the Times of Israel, who quoted the army, five soldiers were injured during the incident, one of whom was in serious condition.
