Israeli soldiers abducted, late on Tuesday night and on Wednesday at dawn, twenty-one Palestinians, including children, after the army invaded and searched dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem.
Several army jeeps invaded Nablus city, in northern West Bank, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Aseed Eshteyya, from his home in the city.
The soldiers also abducted Nathem Eshteyya and Thameen Hamdan, from Salem town, east of Nablus, but released them after detaining them for several hours.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of the city, and abducted the secretary of Fateh movement, Issa Tafesh, in addition to Adam Banat and Ahmad Emad Abu Sharar, 13, after invading and ransacking their homes.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, dozens of soldiers invaded Um Safa village, northwest of the city, before storming and ransacking many homes, causing damage, especially to front doors.
During the invasion, the soldiers abducted Mansour Mohammad Tanatra, 24, Majd Najeh Tanatra, 17, Bara’ Osama Hamad, 20, and Ma’moun Essam Sabah, 21.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Betunia town, west of Ramallah also searched homes, and abducted Abdul-Karim Ziyada, 60.
The soldiers also invaded Teqoua’ town, east of the Bethlehem city, south of occupied Jerusalem, and abducted Riyad Tala al-‘Amour, 15.
It is worth mentioning that, on Monday, the soldiers summoned Ibrahim Hamad Obeyyat, 30, from Bethlehem, for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center, south of the city.
In Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes, before abducting Aseed Shafiq Kharraz, 33, and Nader Mustafa Sawafta, 47, in addition to shooting three Palestinians, including one who suffered a critical injury.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers stormed and searched several homes, before abducting Fuad Rajabi, and Mohammad Rajabi, from Batn al-Hawa neighborhood, in Silwan town.
The soldiers also invaded Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem, searched many homes, and abducted Mohammad Rashed Salem, 22, Ghazi Bader Khatib, 28, Qussai Amer Khatib, 19, and his brother Fadi, 16.
It is worth mentioning that, on Monday evening, the soldiers abducted a child, identified as Yazan Salah Kah’am, from Silwan town, after summoning him for interrogation.
Protests also took place after the soldiers invaded Be’er Ayyoub neighborhood, in Silwan town, in Jerusalem; and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at local youngsters who responded with fireworks.
