On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Kafr Al-Lubbad, located east of Tulkarem in the northwestern occupied West Bank, and assaulted a young man with special needs.

Media reports indicate that several military vehicles invaded the town, stopped and searched many cars and residents in the Al-Karaj area.

The sources added that the soldiers interrogated multiple Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards and assaulted the young man with special needs.

The Palestinian, Jamal Nidal Foqaha, was on his way to the local mosque when he was attacked, sustaining multiple cuts and bruises.

Since January 21, 2025, Israeli forces have expanded their military offensive in the region—from Jenin to Tulkarem—and launched a large-scale invasion on January 27.

The offensive has resulted in the destruction of hundreds of homes, buildings, and infrastructure, displacing tens of thousands of residents.

Over the past 105 days, Israeli forces have carried out extensive demolitions in Tulkarem and the Nur Shams refugee camp, forcibly displacing thousands.

Bulldozers have been used to level homes, while roads and alleyways have been blocked with dirt barriers, further isolating the local population.

Reports indicate that more than 4,200 families—affecting over 25,000 people—have been forcibly displaced, with 396 homes demolished and an additional 2,573 partially damaged.

Palestinian officials and human rights organizations have condemned these demolitions as collective punishment and called on the international community to intervene.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has also criticized the actions, warning that they threaten to displace thousands of Palestinian refugees.

Since the beginning of 2025, Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers have killed 138 Palestinians in the West Bank—among them 24 children and 5 women.

The fatalities are reported as follows: 57 in Jenin, 24 in Nablus, 20 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 6 in Hebron, 5 in Bethlehem, 3 in Ramallah, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, and 2 in Salfit.

In addition, since October 7, 2023, these forces have killed 982 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 187 children, 22 women, 1 journalist, and 2 medics.

The situation in Gaza remains equally dire. Following the resumption of the genocide on March 18, 2025, at least 3,227 Palestinians, including 538 women and 551 children, have been killed, with thousands more injured.

Furthermore, since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 52,810 Palestinians in Gaza, including at least 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 3,855 elderly individuals, 237 journalists, and 23 medics, while over 119,473 people—mostly children, women, and the elderly—have been wounded. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
