On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers demolished a Palestinian home and abducted two sons of the home’s owner and their neighbor in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Hazem Abu Sneina told the Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) that the soldiers invaded the Abu Tayeh neighborhood in the town and demolished his 115 Square Meter home, consisting of four rooms.

The Israeli bulldozers also uprooted grapevines and olive trees surrounding the demolished property.

Hazem added that the soldiers attacked his two sons, Ahmad, 21, and Mohammad, 17, and his neighbor before abducting them and stated that his demolished property housed eight family members.

Abu Sneina stated that he filed many appeals trying to save his home since the first demolition order was issued twelve years earlier.

On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Silwan and demolished a parking lot owned by the local Abu Hadwan family in Silwan.

The Israeli army and the City Council in occupied Jerusalem said the structures were built without permits.

While Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, Palestinian communities and towns in occupied Jerusalem and various areas in the occupied West Bank continue to be denied the right to build homes and property.
