Israeli soldiers injured, on Friday evening, a young Palestinian man after the army invaded the al-Biereh city in central occupied West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said many army jeeps invaded the city, leading to protests in several neighborhoods before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

They added that a young man was shot with live fire, and dozens suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, in addition to cuts and bruises.

The soldiers also invaded and ransacked several homes, and occupied the rooftops of a few buildings, in addition to confiscating surveillance recordings.

The Israeli army claimed it invaded the city after several shots were fired at a military post in the Psagot colony, illegally built on stolen Palestinian lands on the at-Taweel Mountain.
