On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local media activist Mohammad Awad said the army closed the town’s main entrance before several army jeeps invaded it, leading to protests.

Awad added that the soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians and surrounding homes.

Many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation before local medics provided them with the needed treatment.
