On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians who intercepted an attack by illegal Israeli colonizers of Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said many paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the main entrance of Azzoun and closed it to prevent the Palestinians from entering or leaving the town.

They added that many Palestinians intercepted the attack before colonizers assaulted them, leading to a scuffle.

Israeli soldiers invaded the area and started firing live rounds, wounded several young Palestinian men, and gas bombs, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
