Several Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Thursday at dawn, two areas in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, searched homes, and kidnapped two Palestinians, while many suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Medical sources in Bethlehem said several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, during clashes between local youth and the invading Israeli soldiers.
The clashes erupted after the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes in the al-Karkafa and Jabal al-Mawaleh areas, and invaded the homes of two former political prisoners, identified as Nidal Zawahra and Hamza Zawahra.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and surrounded the home of a political prisoner, identified as Ahmad Hasan Salah al-Qaisi, in the Old Town, before invading and violently searching it.
