The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers have kidnapped, on Thursday at dawn, twelve Palestinians in different parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said the soldiers invaded various communities in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, searched many homes and kidnapped four Palestinians, identified as Mohammad Yousef Saba’na, Faisal Mohammad Kamil, Basheer ‘Omri and Mohammad Abdullah Hafnawi.
In addition, dozens of soldiers invaded Taybeh village, west of Jenin, and declared it a closed military zone, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it, and conducted massive searches.
The soldiers also searched homes in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Islam Sho’eib, 20, and Bara’ Hammad, 19.
The PPS also stated that the soldiers invaded Qosra town, in the northern West Bank district of Nablus, and kidnapped ‘Amir Ayman Salah, 22.
Earlier at dawn, the soldiers kidnapped five Palestinians in Tulkarem and Hebron. Three of them, identified as Shadi Fares Mahmoud, 19, Sameh Bilal Ajaj, 21, and Mohammad Ahmad Ajaj, 19, are from Tulkarem, while former political prisoner Tahseen al-Ja’ba, and Hatem Mohammad al-Jondi, were kidnapped in Hebron.
Also at dawn Tuesday, dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded several Palestinian communities in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, searched homes and summoned one Palestinian for interrogation.
Furthermore, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Palestinian agricultural lands, east of the al-Boreij Refugee Camp, in Central Gaza, and fired live rounds and smoke bombs.
