On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian medic and abducted a former political prisoner, in Jenin city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and abducted one man from his home.

Several army jeeps invaded Jenin before the soldiers fired live rounds at a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, wounding a medic.

The medic, Morad Khamaisa, was shot in the thigh when the soldiers fired live rounds at the ambulance he was driving.

The bullet went through the left side of the ambulance, almost striking an oxygen tank before going through the back of the driver’s seat and wounding the medic.

The wounded medic told Palestine Today he was driving to fetch another medic from his home to start their shift when the soldiers deliberately targeted his ambulance.

During the invasion of Jenin, the soldiers abducted Mohammad As’ad Abu Khalifa, a former political prisoner whom Israel held for eighteen years.

On Saturday night, Israeli soldiers shot a medic and a young man in the Wadi Al-Ghrous area, east of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
