Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks killed 13 Palestinians, including three children, one woman, and police officers, and injured many others across the devastated and besieged Gaza Strip on Friday.
Seven Palestinians were killed and ten others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a police vehicle in the Al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
The vehicle had been returning from resolving a family dispute and was carrying individuals from both sides of the quarrel.
Medical sources confirmed the strike resulted in 7 deaths, including two officers, two police assistants, and three civilians, in addition to several wounded.
The sources identified the slain Palestinians as Abdul‑Mon’em Mohammad Miqdad, Omar Saleh Ma’amar, Abdel‑Rahman Abdul‑Rahim Barakat, Mohammad Nader Ad‑Dawahidi, Mohammad Abu ‘Anza, Mohammad Hamdi Miqdad, and Hossam Sheikh Al‑Eid.
In northern Gaza, two Palestinians were killed when Israeli artillery shelled a home near Kamal Adwan Hospital, in Beit Lahia. They were identified as Islam Mohammad Karsou’ and Hamza Khaled Tannani, in addition to several others who were wounded and transferred to the hospital.
Later, a child, Naya Khaled Tannani, 4, succumbed to serious wounds she suffered in the same bombing.
In the evening, two members of the Palestinian police were killed and three others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a police patrol near Bank of Palestine on An‑Nasr Street in northern Gaza City.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the strike hit a patrol near the Sheikh Radwan police station. The slain were identified as Captain Omran Omar Al‑Ladd’a, 59, and Lieutenant Ahmad Ibrahim Al‑Qassas, 40.
The Ministry of Interior said that 27 police personnel have been killed since the “ceasefire” in October 2025, along with dozens of wounded officers, as Israeli forces continue to target police patrols, civil defense teams, and municipal workers across the Strip.
In addition, the Israeli army detonated several homes, east of Gaza city, in addition to firing shells at several areas, northeast of Khan Younis. The Israeli navy also fired live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of Gaza city.

The most recent official Health Ministry report — issued Thursday, before Friday’s attacks — documented 808 Palestinians killed, 2,265 injured, and 761 bodies recovered from under the rubble since the “ceasefire announced on October 11, 2025. The cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, is now at least 72,568 killed and 172,338 injured. These totals do not yet include the 12 Palestinians killed today.
Humanitarian agencies and local authorities warn that the real toll is significantly higher, as many victims remain under the rubble or in areas unreachable by ambulance and civil defense crews due to destroyed roads, lack of fuel, and continued drone activity.
Hospitals in northern Gaza, particularly Kamal Adwan, remain critically short on supplies and continue to operate far beyond capacity.
