Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers have intensified their attacks on Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank in recent weeks, with the Nablus district witnessing some of the most frequent and violent assaults.
On Friday, colonizers burned two vehicles in the town of Qusra after attacking homes in the southern area of the community.
Residents confronted the attackers, leading to protests, while colonizers also targeted poultry and livestock structures, causing damage. A day earlier, colonizers attacked homes in the Ath-Thaher area of Jalud, south of Nablus, prompting residents to intervene to repel the assault.
These incidents come amid a broader escalation of colonizer violence in the villages south of Nablus, including Qaryut, Madama, Burin, Asira al Qibliya, Duma, and Urif, where communities have reported constant attacks since early March.

The assaults have included burning vehicles and agricultural structures, storming homes, firing live rounds, attacking farmers, preventing access to agricultural land, cutting, and uprooting olive trees, and setting fire to fields and greenhouses.
Residents say many of these attacks occur in areas where new colonial outposts have recently been established or expanded, and that colonizers often operate under direct military protection, with soldiers arriving to disperse Palestinians rather than restrain the attackers.

The escalation extends beyond the Nablus district. In the Hebron area, communities in Masafer Yatta continue to face repeated assaults by colonizers from the Havat Ma’on and Mitzpe Yair outposts, including attacks on shepherds and attempts to seize grazing areas.
In the Ramallah district, colonizers have attacked vehicles and homes near Al-Mughayyir, Turmus Ayya, and Sinjil, while also blocking roads and assaulting residents near Deir Dibwan and Beitin.
In the northern Jordan Valley, colonizers have intensified efforts to expel Palestinian shepherding communities in Ein al Hilwa, Khirbet Samra, and Al Farisiyya, targeting livestock, water tanks, and agricultural structures.

Similar incidents have been documented in Qalqilia and Salfit, where colonizers attacked farmers near Kafr Thulth, Azzun, and Deir Istiya, damaging crops and attempting to expand outposts around Ariel, Revava, and Yakir.

Human rights organizations monitoring the situation describe a clear pattern in which colonizer violence is used as a tool to pressure Palestinian communities off their land, particularly in rural and agricultural areas.
The attacks are increasing in frequency and coordination, often occurring in proximity to expanding colonial outposts.
Residents warn that the surge in violence is part of a broader strategy to consolidate Israeli control over strategic areas of the West Bank through a combination of military force and colonizer assaults.
