The Israeli assault against the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the Jenin refugee camp, and the surrounding areas continued, on Thursday, for the third consecutive day. At least six citizens were injured and many were forcibly displaced, while a number of homes were burned and others demolished.

The WAFA News Agency reported that occupation forces injured five citizens during their assault on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, which is ongoing for the third consecutive day.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported three citizens to hospital after occupation soldiers assaulted them at the Jalamah military roadblock, north of Jenin.
The PRCS added that its medics transported two citizens to hospital for injuries sustained as result of live bullet fragments while they were in a shelter set up in the Jenin refugee for citizens who have been forcibly displaced by the army.
The army invaded many citizens’ homes, forced their residents to leave, converting many of them to military barracks, in addition to detaining and interrogating many Palestinians.
Occupation forces burned the Masharqa family home and blocked civil defense crews from reaching it, one day after forcing its residents to evacuate.
A curfew was imposed on the Jenin refugee camp under the threat of injury, forcing residents to go through facial recognition and retina scanners.
The military cut the power supply in the camp and its vicinity, while maintaining a strict siege on the Jenin refugee camp with a large army presence closing all entrances.
Over the past three days, Israeli forces have killed twelve Palestinians in the Jenin governorate, nine in Jenin city and the Jenin camp, one in Ti’inik, and two others in Burqin.

Additionally, the occupation has inflicted serious damage to the infrastructure of the Jenin refugee camp, tearing up streets and damaging homes.

West of Jenin, occupation forces invaded the town of Ya’bad and opened fire at citizens, shooting a young man in the thigh with live ammunition; he was transported to the hospital for treatment, where his wounds were described as moderate.

Israeli forces abducted two Palestinian young men from their vehicle at the Asfour roundabout in Jenin city after stopping their vehicle when they were passing through Asfour roundabout on Nablus Street in Jenin.
Meanwhile, at least one citizen’s home was demolished by Israeli bulldozers in the Jenin refugee camp.

Kamal Abu al-Rob, the Governor of Jenin told the WAFA News Agency that occupation forces cut off electricity to the Jenin refugee camp and its vicinity, affecting the Jenin Governmental Hospital and the Ibn Sina Hospital.

Al-Rob added that the army continued to prevent journalists from covering the events, in an attempt to hide its crimes.

According to Muhammad Al-Dabbagh, the Director of Services in the Jenin camp, estimated the number of displaced families to be in the hundreds.

Israeli forces burned down a number of citizens’ homes in the Jenin refugee camp and forced many citizens to abandon their homes.
The army burned several houses belonging to citizens in Talat al-Ghabz in the camp, and another house near al-Assir Mosque.
They forced the families of Ahmed, Fayyad, and Ibrahim Abu al-Salama, to evacuate their homes and converted them into military barracks.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces dictated that several Palestinian citizens in the Jenin refugee camp to evacuate the area under the threat of death or injury, adding that the displaced people are elderly, women, and children.
Occupation forces kept press crews at a distance from the vicinity of the camp in an attempt to limit the media coverage of their crimes.

Israeli forces prevented the Palestine TV crew in Jenin from covering its ongoing aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp.
Amna Bilalo, correspondent for Palestine TV, told WAFA that soldiers approached journalists who were streaming live coverage of the event, and forced them to stop filming and leave the area.
Bilalo added that “The occupation soldiers pursued us until we reached the building where the TV office is located, and they threatened to storm it. We expect our office to be stormed at any moment.”
