Palestinian fighter dies due to friendly fire, as Israeli troops detain civilians from the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad has reported, on Monday evening, that one of its fighter was accidentally killed, apparently during training.

It stated that Samed Salah Hajjaj, 25, of the Hitteen brigade in Gaza, was killed by accident, adding that he is from the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

The brigades added that its fighters “will always remain ready for any possible Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip.”

Staying in Gaza, Several Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Monday morning, Palestinian farmlands in the eastern part of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and bulldozed them, while firing live rounds and using smoke screens.

Elsewhere, sraeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, many homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, searched the properties and abducted ten Palestinians, including one child.

In Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded homes in Silwan town, and searched them before abducting two Palestinians. The Bethlehem office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that many soldiers invaded ‘Adia refugee camp, north of Bethlehem city, searched and ransacked homes and abducted two civilians including a 15 year old child.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded a school in Batteer town, west of Bethlehem, smashed many doors before searching several rooms and confiscated surveillance equipment and tapes. Also, several army vehicles also invaded ‘Arraba town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, searched homes, abducted one man.

The soldiers also abducted four men from the Ramallah governorate. Moreover, troops abducted one Palestinian in Surif town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
