Israeli occupation forces, on Saturday, chased Palestinian shepherds while they were grazing their livestock in open fields near the town of Yatta, south of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, said a local activist, according to WAFA.
Rateb al-Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Separation Wall and Settlements, said that Israeli forces chased after shepherds in Masafer Yatta grazing fields before detaining one them.
He noted that the Israelis claim the grazing fields to be a military training zone, and therefore prevent shepherds access to the area, in an apparent attempt to force Palestinian residents out of the area, for the benefit of settlement construction.
