Israeli soldiers abducted, Thursday, a former political prisoner from his home in the al-‘Isawiya town, in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the town, before surrounding the home of Midhat al-Isawi, and invaded it.
They added that the soldiers searched the property and abducted the former political prisoner, before moving him to an interrogation facility in Jerusalem.
It is worth mentioning that Midhat is a former political prisoner who was repeatedly abducted and imprisoned by Israel, spending several years in captivity.
He is also the brother of Shirin Isawi, a former political prisoner and a lawyer who was also frequently abducted and imprisoned by Israel, and the brother of Samer al-Isawi, who in the year 2013 held a hunger strike for 265 days, and nearly died, demanding his freedom.
In related news, the soldiers abducted a young man, identified as Baha’ Fayez Rajabi, after stopping him at a roadblock in Silwan town, in Jerusalem.
