Israeli soldiers closed late Thursday night, many roads leading to villages and towns south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers closed the entrance of the al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron and the Halhoul Bridge area north of the city and prevented the Palestinians from entering or leaving it, leading to protests.

The soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinians and surrounding homes.

In addition, the army closed the main roads leading to Doura and ath-Thaheriyya towns south of Hebron and prevented the Palestinians from crossing.

The soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
