Israeli soldiers invaded, Thursday, the al-Qa’qaa Mosque, in Abu Tayeh neighborhood, in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, in addition to storming and searching homes, and photographed buildings.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported that the soldiers conducted violent searches of many homes in the area, including the al-Qa’qaa Mosque.
It added that the soldiers also invaded many neighborhoods in Silwan, before photographing several homes, residential buildings and streets.
The invasions were mainly focused in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood, in Silwan.
In relate news, the army released a Palestinian woman, identified as Susan Ismael Abu Ghannam, 40, from the at-Tour neighborhood overlooking the Old City, after holding her captive for eleven months and ten days.
Abu Ghannam, who was taken prisoner on May 8 2018, was convicted on “incitement” in 44 posts on her Facebook page.
It is worth mentioning that the woman is the mother of Mohammad Abu Ghannam, 20, who was killed by the army on July 21st, 2017.
