Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child and injured a young man, on Wednesday evening, after invading the Al-Hawouz area of Hebron city, in the southern occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent, citing medical sources, reported that the occupation forces shot and killed 15-year-old Ibrahim Abdul-Fattah Mohammad Al-Khayyat during a military incursion into the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
He added that Israeli soldiers opened fire towards Palestinian citizens, shooting the child Al-Khayyat in the abdomen with live ammunition in the Al-Hawouz area of Hebron city.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the slain child was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle, where doctors pronounced him dead as a result of critical gunshot wounds.
Media sources reported that a large army force stormed the city of Hebron on Wednesday evening, closed the main road in the Al-Hawouz area, and forced shop owners to close their doors.
The soldiers opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters towards citizens, injuring the child Al-Khayyat and a young man. The young man was transported to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the knee.
After invading the city, occupation forces besieged and stormed the headquarters of the Islamic Charitable Society in the Al-Hawouz area.
In the southern, Jabal Jawhar area of Hebron city, Israeli soldiers took over a citizen’s home, converted it into a military post, and raised the Israeli flag over it.
It was added that the army abducted an unidentified citizen after stopping his vehicle and forcing him exit.
Earlier Wednesday, occupation forces shot and killed 37-year-old Abdul‑Halim Rawhi Hammad, after invading his home in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
The army stormed and ransacked the Hammad family home at dawn, assaulted family members, and executed the young man, before confiscating his body.
Since the beginning of 2026, Israeli soldiers and colonizers have killed 55 Palestinian citizens, including 13 children and 6 women in the occupied West Bank.
In the Jenin governorate, 2 Palestinians have been killed in 2026, while 2 were killed in Qalqilia, 5 in Tubas, 10 in Nablus, 2 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, 11 in Ramallah, 6 in Jerusalem, 3 in Bethlehem, and 14 in Hebron, according to the Shireen Observatory.
