Amal Awadallah, 9 months old, is the only survivor of her family after the occupation bombed their home in Al-Nasr neighborhood in Gaza City:

On Saturday, the Palestinian Ministry of Development distributed a small amount of food aid to residents in different areas of the Gaza Strip. The coordinator of the Ministry of Development in Gaza, Saeed Al-Ustadh, told WAFA: “Trucks loaded with various relief aid arrived for the people of the Strip through the ministry, and were distributed to families in Gaza through civil institutions and development partners.”

The professor added that the relief aid included various types of vegetables and frozen meat, especially for the areas of northern Gaza Strip, where people have been without refrigeration and electricity for months. Many families have resorted to eating weeds from the dusty ground, and no one in the north has managed to have meat for virtually the entire period of the Israeli invasion that began 345 days ago.

According to Middle East Eye, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters there was an urgent “need for a ceasefire deal in the Middle East” a day after a meeting with Joe Biden. Both leaders met to discuss the war in Ukraine and Israel’s war in Gaza. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirate’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan, said the Gulf state is not “ready to support the day after the war in Gaza without the establishment of a Palestinian state”.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of at least 41,182 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 95,280 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

Around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed between October 7th and now – both in Gaza and on the Israeli border with Lebanon.
