On Tuesday evening, undercover Israeli soldiers kidnapped a young Palestinian man in the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the undercover soldiers infiltrated the main entrance area of the refugee camp and kidnapped Ahmad Mohammad Zaghari, 20, before taking him to an unknown destination.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said Zaghari is a former political prisoner who was also shot by the army in a previous invasion.
The PPS added that Zaghari is the brother of two political prisoners, Luay and Ashraf Zaghari.
