Ramallah, 27-2-2025, WAFA – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli occupation’s seizure of lands belonging to the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas, under the pretext of “settling hands” for military purposes, as well as the seizure of areas of lands in Al-Sawiya, Al-Naqoura, Deir Sharaf and Sebastia in Nablus Governorate.

The ministry also condemned, in a statement issued on Thursday evening, the escalation in terrorist attacks by settlers against citizens, their land, property and livestock, as happened recently in the wilderness of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem, the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, the Jaba’ plain, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, the town of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron, and as is happening constantly in Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley, which are exposed to the most heinous forms of repression, abuse, shooting, deprivation of pastures, the violation of their lands, the construction of colonial roads and the destruction of their agricultural crops, on the path to forcibly displacing them from Masafer and the Jordan Valley under the protection and supervision of the occupation army.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the ruling Israeli right continues to accelerate the pace of land seizure, deepen colonialism, and practice the most heinous forms of ethnic cleansing against Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and all areas called (C), to allocate them as a strategic depth for colonial settlement, in blatant defiance of relevant UN resolutions, especially Resolution 2334, with the aim of introducing the deepest changes to the existing historical, political, legal, and demographic reality of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and preventing the opportunity to embody the Palestinian state and undermining the implementation of the principle of the two-state solution, in an official Israeli policy aimed at exploding the situation in the occupied West Bank to create a suitable climate for displacing citizens from it.

The Ministry called for translating international demands and warnings about the dangers of colonialism and the attacks of the colonists into deterrent international sanctions on the occupying state, forcing it to stop the seizure of lands and colonization and to curb the elements of colonial terrorism, if those countries and the international community want to preserve the opportunity to implement the principle of the two-state solution.
