NABLUS, Sunday, October 15, 2023 (WAFA) – Palestinian farmers who were harvesting olives in their own lands today in Burqa village, northwest of Nablus, came today under attack by colonial Israeli settlers, according to local sources.
The sources reported that armed settlers attacked the family of Palestinian farmer Mazen Daghlas as they were harvesting olives in their own lands in the village. The settlers also stole their mobile phones and the harvested olives before being fended off by the local residents.
Such incidents of violence and harassment by Israeli settlers against Palestinian farmers by Israeli settlers continue to be a persistent issue, creating fear and tension in these agricultural communities.
