Israeli soldiers killed, Wednesday, a young Palestinian man in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after an alleged stabbing attack targeting an Israeli soldier and a settler. The slain Palestinian’s cousin was killed, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, Monday.Medical sources said the Palestinian has been identified as Yosri Zakariyya Miswada, 21; he was shot in the Shuhada Street, in Hebron city.
Israeli sources said a soldier suffered a moderate injury in the chest, while a settler was lightly wounded in his leg, and that they were both transferred to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The wounded settler is the son of “Jewish Home” Member of Knesset, Orit Struck, Israeli Ynet News has reported.
Eyewitnesses said the Palestinian was killed near Beit Hadassah illegal Israeli colony, in Hebron’s Old city, and that he was shot with several live rounds, and bled to death after the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him.
It is worth mentioning that, on Monday, Israeli soldiers killed Yosri’s cousin, Ehab Fathi Miswada, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron.
On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers killed Malek Akram Shahin, 18, with an internationally banned hollow-point bullet that detonates upon impact. He was killed after the soldiers invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, in Bethlehem.
