Israeli warplanes fired, on Sunday at dawn, three missiles into an area, northwest of Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources in Rafah said the missiles destroyed the targeted a structure and caused serious damage to nearby homes and buildings.

The Israeli military claimed its air force targeted a training center for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

It added that the attack came after the army reportedly “noticed four Palestinians who crossed the border fence, to burn army machinery.”
