Illegal Israeli settlers uprooted, on Monday, dozens of Palestinian-owned olive trees in the Al Baq’a area, east of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.

Aref Jaber, the owner of the olive trees, told the Palestinian WAFA News Agency, that illegal settlers from Kiryat Arba, an illegal Israeli colony, built on Palestinian lands, invaded his privately-owned land and uprooted dozens of olive trees under the protection of Israeli soldiers.

Jaber added that Israeli colonists often attack Palestinian farmers in the area by uprooting trees or destroying water tanks in attempts to force Palestinians out of their lands in order to take over.

In related news, a crowd of extremist Israeli colonists attacked, on Saturday evening, Palestinian journalists who were documenting their actions, south of Hebron.

Similarly, on Friday, east of Yatta town, south of Hebron, several colonialist settlers attacked Palestinian homes attempting to invade them, however the local Palestinian community intercepted and forced the settlers too retreat.
