Several Israeli army jeeps invaded, on Tuesday at night, Hebron city and Beit Ummar town, in southern West Bank, and injured dozens of Palestinians during ensuing protests.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded and ransacked the home of Ahmad Khalil Abu Hashem, in Beit Ummar, causing property damage.
They added that protests took place as the soldiers were withdrawing from the town, and that the army fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets.
Medical sources said dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, while others suffered various cuts and bruises.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Jabal ar-Rahma and Jabal Abu Romman, in Hebron city, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at local protesters, causing several injuries.
