PA President Mahmoud Abbas today called his Israeli counterpart, Reuven Rivlin, to congratulate him on the Jewish New Year.
During the call, they exchanged views on the latest developments in the Palestinian-Israeli relationship, and the two presidents expressed their hope to achieve peace between Palestinians and Israelis as soon as possible.
According to WAFA correspondence, the Israeli president thanked Abbas for his call and for congratulating him on the Jewish New Year.
