Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, sixteen Palestinians after invading and ransacking their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The PPS said the soldiers abducted eight Palestinians, including a child from several parts of occupied Jerusalem.

They have been identified as Mohammad Hussein Khatib, Ali Yasser Khatib, Walid Salem Khatib and Mohammad Hamza Mubarak, from Hizma town, Majd Marwan Dari, 19, and his brother Mohannad, 11, from al-‘Isawiya town, in addition to Ezzeddin Atef Mteir and his brother Rajab, from Qalandia refugee camp, and were taken prisoner in Kafr Aqab town.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Ahmad Sharaka, 35, Mahmoud Mohammad al-Ghaleeth, 17, and Mohammad Raed Masarwa, 19.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Omar Kamel al-Ja’bari, from the al-Yamoun town, in addition to Mohammad Omar Zakarna, from Qabatia.

In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Yahia Wa’el Shbeita, 26, from Azzoun town.

In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Yousef Hisham Arafa, 19, from the Deheishe refugee camp.

In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted the secretary of Fateh movement in the northern part of Hebron Governorate, Yasser Zama’ra.

On Wednesday at night, the soldiers invaded Khirbat Yizra village, in the Northern Plains of the West Bank, and inspected many sheds, including residential structures, in preparation for demolishing them.

The soldiers invaded the village four days ago and handed the demolition orders to the Palestinians.
