On Monday evening, dozens of Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded the archeological area in Sebastia Palestinian town, north of Nablus, in northern West Bank.
Mohammad Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, stated that more than 50 colonizers and many soldiers invaded the site.
He added that the soldiers closed all surrounding areas, including many roads, seriously restricting the freedom of movement to the Palestinians.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archeological area in Sebastia.
During these invasions, the soldiers block all Palestinian traffic, in addition to frequently storming homes, abducting Palestinians, and attacking protesters, in addition to removing the Palestinian flag from the site.
