Israeli soldiers abducted, Monday, a Palestinian teenage boy near Bab al-‘Amoud in the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Mahmoud ‘Ashayer, 17, while walking near Bab al-Amoud, and took him to a detention facility in the city.
They added that the soldiers also stopped and interrogated many Palestinians in the area, and inspected their ID cards.
Earlier Monday, the soldiers abducted four Palestinians, and assaulted the father of one of them, causing various wounds, in Salfit, Tulkarem, Qalqilia, and Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
Furthermore, illegal Israeli colonizers invaded a Palestinian orchard in Burin town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and burnt dozens of olive trees.
In related news, the soldiers abducted, early on Monday morning, two young Palestinian men and detained a child, in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the village of al-‘Arqa, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, before storming and ransacking many shops, leading to protests.
