After 131 days of hunger strike, the Palestinian administrative detainee, Kayed al-Fasfous, on Monday, suspended his strike after reaching an agreement with the occupation authorities, Quds News Network reported.
This comes at the same time another hunger striker, Ayyad al-Hreimi, 28, from Bethlehem city suspended his strike after 60 days to protest being held under Administrative Detention with no charges or trial.
Al-Fasfous, 31, a married father of one, from Doura town, southwest of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, will be released on December 14, 2021.
On November 18, Palestinian detainee Ala’ Al-A’raj, 34, from Anabta town, east of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, suspended his hunger strike after 103 days.
On November 12, detainee Miqdad al-Qawasma, 24, from Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank, ended his hunger strike after 113 days.
Two administrative detainees remain on hunger strike, Hisham Abu Hawwash has been refusing food for 98 days, and Luay al-Ashqar for 43 days in protest against being held under administrative detention with no charges or trial.
