On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Qabatia town and Be’er al-Basha village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, shot two Palestinians during ensuing protests, and abducted three others from their homes.
Several army vehicles invaded Qabatia, leading to protests before the soldiers shot two young men with live fire.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot one Palestinian in the abdomen, and one in the leg, before the medics rushed them to Jenin governmental hospital.
The soldiers also invaded and searched many homes in Qabatia before abducting two former political prisoners, Amjad ad-Damoun and Mohammad Omar Abu Jaber.
In Be’er al-Basha village, the soldiers also invaded and searched homes and abducted a former political prisoner, Haitham Fayeq Ghawadra.
