A Palestinian medical source at the Rafah Governmental Hospital reported that a resident succumbed to serious injuries sustained a few months ago during an air strike that targeted a group of resistance fighters. One fighter of the Islamic Jihad died of wounds suffered earlier this dawn in Rafah.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Mohammad Hussein Abdul-‘Al, 25, member of the Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, was seriously injured on Friday at dawn after the Israeli air force fired missile at a group of fighters in Rafah.
He died of his wounds at the Rafah Hospital and was buried at A Shuhada graveyard, east of Rafah on Friday afternoon.
In Gaza city, a Palestinian medical source reported last night that the 26-year-old Nahed Mahani succumb ed to critical wounds sustained in an Israeli air strike that targeted a number of resistance fighters in city a few months ago.
Mahani was receiving treatment at an Israeli hospital until he was pronounced dead. Contacts with the Israeli side are underway to return his body to the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli air force launched twelve strikes this morning targeting several constructions in the northern, southern and central parts of the Gaza Strip. Among the shelled constructions, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior; four residents were injured in the separate attacks.
The missile that targeted the ministry of interior was fired at the office of Sa’id Siyam, Minister of Interior, in the fourth floor. The office was completely burnt, no injuries were reported.
Also, soldiers shelled with two missiles Al Mighraqa Bridge, that links the northern part of the Gaza Strip with Gaza City, the bridge was completely damaged.
In Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, in Gaza City, three civilian were injured after the Israeli air force fired missiles at a center for the Executive Force that belongs to the Ministry of Interior, damage to several constructions, including civilian houses, was reported.
An office belonging to Fateh movement in Gaza City was also shelled; one resident was seriously injured, while the office was completely damaged.
In the Central Gaza Strip, the Israeli apaches shelled one building that belongs to the Gaza Electricity Company; the building, which is still under construction, was damaged.
Also, a media office in Gaza was shelled by two missiles fired by Israeli apaches, the office was burnt as a result of the blast.
In Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, troops shelled a house that belongs to one of the leaders of the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, no injuries were reported in the attack.
Several districts in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, in addition to several areas in Gaza City remained without power supply after the army repeatedly targeted electricity generators in the Gaza Strip.
