On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the Jenin governorate in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded Silat ath-Thaher town, south of Jenin, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner Samed Bashir Ghanem.
They added that the soldiers also invaded Zabbouba village, northwest of Jenin, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, Hasan Mohammad Zaghal.
The soldiers also invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin, and fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at Palestinians who protested the invasion, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
During the invasion of Qabatia, the soldiers stormed and ransacked the homes of several former political prisoners in the town and threatened to abduct them.
In Kafr Dan village, northwest of Jenin, the soldiers invaded the home of a political prisoner, Mojahed Nawahda, and ransacked the property.
