On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot eight Palestinians and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Local media and human rights activist Mohammad Awad said the soldiers invaded the town and attacked protesters with live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Awad stated that the soldiers shot three Palestinians with live fire; two in the legs and one in the arm, before the medics rushed them to a hospital in Hebron.
He added that the soldiers shot five Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation. They received treatment at the scene, while a few were moved to a local clinic.
In Bethlehem, a large military force invaded Husan village, west of the city, after an illegal Israeli colonizer was injured at a nearby bypass road after Palestinian protesters hurled stones at his car.
Also, the soldiers shot and seriously injured two Palestinians, including a child, near Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
Earlier Wednesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed four Palestinians and injured forty-four, some seriously, in a massive invasion of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
