On Thursday, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man while crossing the Erez (Beit Hanoun) crossing in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Saber Yousef Abu Thabet, 28, who was a permit to cross, and took him to an unknown location.
Saber is from Deir Al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip; he is the second Palestinian to be abducted at the crossing this week and the sixth this year.
On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded Palestinian lands and fired live rounds in the central and southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
