On Wednesday dawn, many army vehicles invaded Hares village, west of the central West Bank city of Salfit, and took measurements of the family home of a Palestinian killed Tuesday, after killing three Israelis, in preparation for demolishing the property.
Media sources said the soldiers stormed the family home and interrogated the parents of Mohammad Morad Souf, 18, who was killed near Ariel illegal colony after killing Tamir Avichai, 50, from Kiryat Netafim colony, Michael Ledigin, 36, from Bat-Yam, and Mordechai Ashkenazi, 59, from Yavne.
The sources said the Israeli Combat Engineering Corps soldiers took measurements of the property in preparation for detonating it later.
Israel’s policies of home demolitions, regardless of ‘justifications’, are acts of illegal collective punishment that violate International Law and various human rights treaties.
On Monday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed, at dawn, a teenage girl, Folla Rasmi Abdul-Aziz Masalma, 16, in Betunia town after shooting her with a live round in the head.
