On Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians near Hebron, in the West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded Sa’ir town, east of Hebron, searched and ransacked several homes before abducting two former political prisoners, Khalil Abdul-Karim Al-Froukh and Amro Thiab Al-Froukh.
In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the soldiers invaded several neighborhoods, searched shops, and closed the town’s main entrance before abducting Ali Mohammad Abu Ayyash, 48, Abdul-Halim Mohammad Abu Ayyash, 42, Ashraf Mohammad Abu Ayyash, 45, and Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Ayyash, 16.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks on the main Jerusalem-Hebron road and streets leading to Beit Ummar and Halhoul, stopped and searched many cars, and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
