On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Diahiat As-Salam area in Anata town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and demolished the apartment of the family of a Palestinian killed by the army last year.
Several army jeeps invaded the town before storming a residential building in the Dahiat As-Salam area and started demolishing the home of Odai Kamal Tamimi, 22, with sled hammers and other tools because the flat is on the sixth floor of an apartment building.
Media sources said the soldiers surrounded the entire area, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it, before storming the building and the apartment of the slain young man.
It is worth mentioning that Odai was killed on October 19, 2022, near Ma’ale Adumim illegal colony, east of the occupied capital Jerusalem in the West Bank, after he opened fire at security guards, mildly wounded one.
Not long after his death, the soldiers stormed the building where Odai lived with his family and took measurements of the property.
