Earlier Sunday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Old City of Nablus in the northern West Bank, surrounded a Palestinian home before invading it and causing serious damage, and abducted two young men. The soldiers also shot a young man during ensuing protests.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers surrounded a home in the Al-Qisariyya neighborhood, deployed sharpshooters on surrounding properties, and wired and detonated the main door before storming the property.
The army then abducted two young men, Eyad Takrouri and Mos’ab Methher, in the invaded home after the soldiers caused serious damage to the property.
The Israeli army claimed the two Palestinians were responsible for several shooting incidents targeting Israeli soldiers in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.
The soldiers also invaded a home of a Palestinian they were trying to abduct but could not locate, detained his family in the property for several hours while ransacking it, and took their mobile phones.
Furthermore, the soldiers shot a young man with live fire during protests after the army invaded the Old City.
In Halhoul town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, the army abducted Khaled Jamal from his home after the soldiers stormed the property and ransacked it, especially windows and doors.
