On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot three Palestinians and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank.
Morad Eshteiwi, the media spokesperson of the Fateh movement in Kufur Qaddoum, said the Palestinians marched from the center of the town, heading to the main entrance.
Eshteiwi added that the soldiers attacked the protesters with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs while many youngsters hurled stones at the invading soldiers.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot three Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinians hold weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum, demanding the army to reopen the town’s main entrance, blockaded 19 years ago to allow easy access to illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim colony, built on stolen Palestinians.
