In the first few hours of Sunday, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Beita town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, stormed and ransacked homes, and abducted at least five Palestinians.
The soldiers invaded and violently searched many homes before rounding up dozens of residents and taking them to the center of the town, where they interrogated them while inspecting their ID cards.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Moayyad Abdul-Mon’em Odeili, Hasan Bakr Al-Jaghoub, Mohammad Mofeed Kharyoush, Mohammad Taher Dweikat, and a fifth Palestinian whose name was unavailable at the time of this report.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and the abductions before the soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Salem village, east of Nablus, broke into and ransacked several shops, and interrogated many Palestinians while searching them and their mobile phones.
