On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least fifteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, especially Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jenin.
The Palestinian Detainees Committee and the Palestinian Prisoners Society said the soldiers invaded various parts of the occupied West Bank and stormed and ransacked dozens of homes.
They added that the soldiers interrogated many Palestinians in their homes before abducting fifteen Palestinians, including three women and one child, in addition to many former political prisoners.
Among the abducted Palestinians are two women, both former political prisoners, Layan Nasser and Bir Zeit University student Layan Kayed.
During the invasions of homes, the soldiers assaulted many Palestinians while interrogating them, and threatened to harm the families of the detainees, in addition to causing serious property damage.
In related news, the soldiers installed a military roadblock ath Tulkarem’s southern entrance, in the northwestern West Bank, stopped and searched dozens of cars for several hours while inspecting ID cards and interrogating many Palestinians.
The roadblock was installed under the Jabara bridge at the southern entrance of Tulkarem and is considered a major intersection as it links the city with the governorate of Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, leading to an extended traffic jam.
