Israeli forces shot and killed, before dawn Thursday, three Palestinian young men, and injured at least two others, in the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, and abducted one in the town of Anabta, east of the city.

Media sources said that a large military forces invaded the city from its western entrance and positioned soldiers in the center of the city, sparking protests among Palestinian youths.

Sharpshooters positioned on the rooftops of tall buildings heavily fired live rounds at Palestinian citizens, shooting and critically injuring three young men, who succumbed to their wounds.

The Ministry of Health identified the three slain young men as Ayman Ahmad Mubarak, 26, Hossam Imad Dabas, 22, and Mohammad Youssef Nasrallah, 27.


The Arab 48 website quoted the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews who stated that they transported five injuries from live ammunition, to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, including the three critically wounded young men.

Meanwhile, another military force passed through the Shweika suburb, north of the city, and invaded the towns of Deir Al-Ghusoun and Atil, northwest of Tulkarem.

Soldiers broke into and searched the “Beit Al-Maqdis” exchange shop in the western neighborhood in the city of Tulkarem, in addition to storming and searching the “Fakhr Al-Din” exchange shop in the town of Atil.

It was added that occupation forces stormed the home of Yazan Shehadeh, in the town of Anabta, east of the city, before abducting him; he is an employee at the “Gulf Exchange” shop in Tulkarem.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Birzeit University student, identified as Ayser Mohammad Safi, 20, during a march commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, in the central West Bank city of Al-Biereh.

Israeli forces have killed 502 Palestinian civilians, including 124 children, while 20 Palestinians have been killed by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

In the Gaza Strip, Israel has killed at least 35,173 Palestinians, including more than 15,000 children, 9,800 women, and has injured more than 79,061, since October 7, 2023, not including the thousands of Palestinians who remain buried under the rubble.
