Israeli forces, on Thursday, abducted five Palestinians, including a woman and a former prisoner, in the cities of Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron, in the central and southern parts of the West Bank.

On Thursday morning, Israeli forces invaded the cities of Ramallah and Al-Biereh, in addition to the towns of Silwad and Surda, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah, and abducted a Palestinian young man.


Media sources said that soldiers broke into and searched the home of Izz al-Din Abdel Majeed Hamid, 18, in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, before abducting him.

On Thursday night, the army invaded the village of Deir Qaddis, northwest of Ramallah, and stormed several neighborhoods.

It was added that soldiers detonated the doors to an exchange shop in the city of Al-Biereh without making any arrests.

Before dawn on Thursday, a large army force stormed the city of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, invaded a money exchange shop, and abducted a Palestinian young woman.


Media sources said that soldiers, before dawn Thursday, invaded and ransacked the home of Alaa Talib Abayat, 24, the manager of the Al-Khaleej Exchange shop, detained, handcuffed, and interrogated her, forcing her to open the shop, and then abducting her.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded, before dawn on Thursday, the towns of As-Samu’ and Bani Na’im, south and east of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and abducted a Palestinian young man.

Media sources said that soldiers stormed and searched the home of Muhammad Al-Salamin, in the town of As-Samu’, before abducting him.

On Thursday morning, occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar and the town of Yatta, north and south of the city, and abducted two young men.

After storming the town of Beit Ummar, Israeli soldiers abducted the former prisoner, Mahmoud Mohammad Mahmoud al-Tait, 25, in addition to the young man, Abdullah Adel Jamil Zaqeq.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2024, Israeli forces have abducted at least 8,755 Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.
